5 New Years Resolutions

Today's post is going to be a post that every other blogger and youtuber will be talking about. It's New Years Resolutions! The goals you set yourself in the beginning of the year then laugh to yourself about them at the end of the year. Yeah, those things.

  1. Blog every day- The most obvious one. Every year I always try to do something every day, but I'm never successful with it. This year I'm going to push myself harder to do this. I know that every blogger out there reading this will be all like "but it's bad to force yourself to blog. Your posts won't be as great". Yeah yeah yeah. I know. However, this is called a challenge for a reason. Other bloggers don't set a goal of blogging every day. I am.
  2. Exercise- Thee most cliche new years resolution of all. Over the last couple of years, I've been spending a lot of my time laying on my bed, watching Netflix and YouTube, resulting in a very unhealthy life style. I'm not setting my goal as going to the gym everyday. That's a little out of my reach considering the fact that I live nowhere near a gym, I don't drive, and I don't have the money to set up a membership. Instead, I want to do light exercise at home, go on walks, and go to the gym with my mom whenever possible.
  3. Read more- I used to be such a heavy reader. For example, I once read the whole Divergent series in nine days. But ever since last Summer, I stopped reading. Reading is so good for you on a number of different levels. I love the concept of it, but there's other things I like doing, like watching TV and spending time on my computer, which both of those aren't so good for you. This Christmas I was gifted a couple of books and I got an iTunes gift card. With that gift card, I bought Zoe Sugg's book called Girl Online. So, it's safe to say there's some books I should be getting my nose in.
  4. Do more with my time- It's not secret that I'm a pretty lazy person. I have a lot of time that I don't know what to do with. I usually spend my time doing a whole load of nothing. This year, I want to get more involved with school activities, hang out with my friends more often, and possibly get a job. I feel like doing those things will make me feel more accomplished and proud of myself.
  5. Document- This year I want to document the things I get up to. I don't think I'm going to do this on my blog, instead I'll probably keep a personal journal. I think I'll do a "monthly wrap up" type of thing where I tell you guys what happened that month, but not go into huge detail as that might be boring and the post might be a bit too long.

So, there you have it! Those are my five New Year's Resolutions. I hope that for the first time in my life, I'll be sitting there on December 31st feeling so proud of myself. Tell me in the comments what your New Year's Resolutions are. Maybe you'll inspire me to add to my list.

  1. Good luck with your goals! Especially the exercising one... That is always so difficult to commit to! Also, wishing you luck with your blog! :)

  2. Happy New Year Good luck! Blogging everyday can be hard so I hope you can succeed! As for me mine will be not to have a random 3 month blogging break for no reason (which happened in 2014).
